Gillian joins the Milton Choristers as the soprano soloist for their annual holiday concert which also celebrates the 50th anniversary. Under the direction of conductor Rachel Cleland, Gillian sings the soprano solo in Vivaldi's Gloria along with other seasonal favourites miltonchoristers.com

Gillian was thrilled to return to Montreal this month in order to attend the McGill Song Interpretation Class 40th Anniversary festivities. Besides catching up with friend and mentor, Michael McMahon, Gillian performed a set of Rachmaninoff songs with Montreal pianist and Song Interp alumnus, Tristan Lauber.

Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women May 31
A strong advocate of both mental health and women's issues, Gillian is honoured to have been asked to be a spokesperson for this year's cross-Canada event. Besides participating in the actual Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women, Gillian will be sharing her own personal experiences in the hopes of destigmatizing this often taboo subject by raising awareness and empowering both women and men suffering from mental health issues to come forward and seek help. CD Recording to support Music Therapy in the NICU at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto
Gillian is proud to be one of of the singers lending her voice to this worthy endeavour. The brainchild of fellow soprano, Cheryl Campbell, all proceeds from the sale of this CD will go towards helping establish a music therapy program in the NICU (Level III: critical care) and Level II nursery at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Workshop of Hansel and Gretel with Shoestring Opera
Gillian is currently in the process of work shopping Shoestring Opera's latest creation based on the music of Humperdink's Hansel and Gretel. Gillian will sing the role of Gretel with baritone Alastair Smyth singing Hansel and cellist Anne Rankin doing double duty as the Witch. Initial Performances are scheduled for March 24 and 26.
